Burwell Village Carnival

A bumper crowd enjoyed all the fun that Burwell Carnival 2018 had to offer. As the carnival procession made its’ way through the village, thousands of people gathered along the route to witness the colourful, dynamic float parade pass by. Then, once at the Carnival field old and young alike soaked up the atmosphere as the stage entertainment, field displays and funfair went into full swing.

We are looking forward to an action packed Carnival for 2019 with plenty of activities and surprises planned. This year’s date is Saturday 15 June and the parade theme is to be confirmed.

Burwell Carnival delivers a day for people of all ages to enjoy, remember and most of all raise thousands of pounds for many local charity & community organisations. If you want to take part, volunteer, book a stall please contact us.

Max Jamieson, and his fellow skateboarders, will be giving displays on the skate park throughout the afternoon.

There’s no need to go anywhere as we have everything you need for a ‘free to enter’, full and fun family day out. Finally folks, do tell your friends to come along or bring them with you. Do bring chairs and rugs but please no glassware, own alcohol (otherwise we could lose our license) or bad behaviour – thank you!
